New Zealand Fashion Week kicked off on September 16 - and was off literally and figuratively to a flying start.
There was no doubt who the key sponsor of this event was: National airline Air New Zealand - who debuted their "Fashion Bombshells".
This in short consisted of models jumping out of a plane - wearing designer gear (and of course parachutes), 'striking a pose' and in turn giving us a glimpse of what was yet to come. This was not only a memorable start to Fashion Week, but showcased Deborah Sweeney, Jaeha, Cybele, Karen Walker, Zambesi and Huffer - if only for a brief moment.
The Fashion Bombshells proved of course to just be the beginning of excitement, and the glitz and glamour that was Fashion Week. Check out the highlights of New Zealand Fashion week in my upcoming instalments. You can also see the Fashion Bombshells in full force by visiting this link.
