www.couturelab.com is an online luxury lifestyle company that reinforces craftsmanship, showcasing rare and unique pieces. It is an online luxury destination with a difference…
Carmen Busquets, who is the founder of CoutureLab and founder main investor of Net-a-Porter, created CoutureLab as a lifestyle concept for the time-short customer of discerning taste who appreciates craftsmanship all in one place.
“For me luxury is time, therefore I value the time that these artisans take to become experts in what they do, and the time they dedicate into creating each product. Sometimes this work can take up to three months.”

It is like opening a box of exquisite handmade chocolates.. everything is individually beautiful and when you take a closer look you discover fabulous centre’s!
The mission of CoutureLab is to encourage people to explore their individual creativity by inspiring them with the stories behind the selection of unique or hard to find products coming from very limited distribution.
Excitingly CoutureLab have moved from on-line into bricks and mortar and have opened a boutique at 37 Davis Street, Mayfair – just down the road from The Cipriani – so all senses can be satisfied on one street!
On the site last night I fell in love with the Gold Ribbon Cuff by Osanna Visconti – if anyone is looking to buy me a late birthday present, look no further!
Across town in the old Antiquarius building on the Kings Road Anthropolgie have opened their second UK emporium.. I can say no more except… please go….check out this amazing use of space and light, the fabulous indoor water feature and fashion in moss…
BKS: The Portrait Restaurant, high above the clouds, at the National Portrait Gallery has an exquisite Pink Fizz tea from 3.15 – 5pm everyday…a glass of pink champagne, smoked salmon sandwiches, a selection of homemade mini desserts..perfect relaxation after the BIG shop…Oh and with culture thrown in too!

I love the portrait restaurant, but not tried their Pink Fizz tea yet. It sounds delicious!
I'm so impressed with Anthropolgie - its like a breathe of fresh air and very inspiring. We have already used some of their ideas in our own shops!

I love CoutureLab, not only are the products unique and beautiful but the packaging is amazing! If you wanted a gift for someone that is hard to buy for, then definitely the place to shop.
