Vogues Fashion’s Night Out last week showed us the way. We were thigh deep in the newest trend with Posh in New York wearing the extreme boot version whilst in London we shopped until we dropped for those more modest thigh highs!
Grazing and sipping across Bond St, Oxford St and Regent St every business and brand offered us something gorgeous to see or do. From the Daisy Lowe shoot at Chanel to Rupert Sanderson’s largest ever high heeled shoe construction - it was fun and free. Well done to all contributors!
Bond St Association’s Deputy Chairman Pauline Hudson Evans who owns www.hudsonwalker.com the fabulous fashion recruitment company took me round and at Juicy’s new store www.juicycouture.com we joined Ann Cunliffe Commercial Director and Karen Plishka HR Manager Europe for cup cakes and champers!

Earlier in the week The London Fashion Network www.londonfashionnetwork.com hosted its one year birthday party. Vicky Day of Pure Sauce www.puresauce.co.uk was a true Bet Lynch behind the bar Louis Vuitton in foreground! Jessica Price Brown ( Drapers ) and Tim Danahar (Retail Week) were stars of the evening and hosted a great question time!

E-Style owner and Digital Marketing Guru Andy Francis took me for a delicious tea at the Dorchester to tell me more of his expansion plans for his fantastic business www.estylegroup.com. Andy, who is sponsoring the Drapers E-tail Awards- January 28th 2010, reminded me that entries are now open at www.drapersetailawards.co.uk.
Somerset House is gearing up for both London Fashion Week and the stunning SHOWstudio exhibition (launching 21st September) www.somersethouse.org.uk . Mark Hislop, Commercial Director, took time out of his busy schedule to talk to me about his plans for the future. We will be learning more in later posts but I am pleased to say that he is firmly placing Somerset House on the map as a hub of Fashion, Art and Culture. The British Fashion Council has taken up SH office residence, along with many others, so there is a fantastic buzz about our LFW’s new home!
BKS: Molecule 01-the pheromone sensitive perfume that is said to re-act with your own personal chemicals apparently produces a unique scent bespoke to you! Thank you Alison Whelan of FBC www.fashionbusinessclub.net and the lovely Liberty Perfumery team www.Liberty.co.uk .01 certainly does attract the right attention -Trust me!

The footwear is one of our most popular and is pretty hard to get a hold of in many sizes right now. (For more info...http://www.aussiesoles.com
