The last week of summer – or so we have been told, and I can sense the first chill of autumn walking home late at night this week.
With every West End and Knightsbridge window featuring Fall/Winter and with all those delicious shades of noir..it really is getting to feel like we have to lose the shoe string straps and put away bare legs..we are dressing for evening now..and remember boys as Oscar Wilde said” One should never give a woman anything she can’t wear in the evening”..
A great event this week held for the Princess Alice Hospice was the “Fit for a Princess” event which was held at the fabulous Browns Hotel this week: www.brownshotel.com …we tottered along to view dresses donated by celebrities such as Trinny Woodall, Joanna Lumley and Geri Halliwell.

The lovely generous Lizzie Cundy- tv presenter, Sue Moxley, presenter and Beauty Editor of the Sun and David Van Day ex Dollar star were absolutely key to the success of this event – Lizzie being the driver of the idea! The proceeds will be given to this wonderful hospice whose caring attitude has helped many people through very difficult times. The collection will be auctioned from 19th October on www.ebay.co.uk.
Out of town this week I visited one of Gill and Paul Haynes’s fabulous independent shops in the lovely town of Market Harborough. “Jacks” is an amazing business and they are one of this years entrants for the Drapers Awards 2009.

I must remind everyone of The Etail Awards which are being held on January 28th. So all of you out there in ecommerce do check out entering - its great fun and fab exposure! www.drapersetailawards.co.uk
Best Kept Secret (BSK) : I have been kindly asked who takes my professional photo’s. A very hard thing to share but its: Christopher Gonta Photography www.christophergonta.com – he has a way of making everything look good!

The footwear is one of our most popular and is pretty hard to get a hold of in many sizes right now. (For more info...http://www.aussiesoles.com
