A fine panel of speakers, hosted by Miriam Lahage, talked us through their different areas of expertise, the future development’s we can expect and how we can currently get the best from our e-commerce platforms.
We were lucky to hear Mark Lewis talking about Technology; Martin Newman on Practicology and Ashley Friedman on Futureology.

Among the guests were Vicki Day from Pure Sauce, Leon Bailey Green of the Online Fashion Agency and of course Frances Card (me!) as shown above. The event also was hosts to Liberty, Secret Sales and Lipsy to name a few.
Last week Austique, the Kings Road and online Fashion Store www.austique.co.uk, held a hugely successful event attracting 50% more visitors than expected! As a celebration of Austique’s customer loyalty and to celebrate their sixth birthday it can only be described as a success!

There was also the opportunity to view the high summer collections and a preview of Autumn Winter too. It was definitely the Austique own brand that stole the show!

Katie Canvin founder and owner was thrilled when two top magazine approached her about running features on the store and brand. Katie is pictured here with Ruby Rufus Isaacs.
BKS: Maybe this isn’t as well kept as I think…let me know! The 5th View Bar at the top of Waterstone’s Piccadilly, the old Simpson’s department store, is a great place to spend time and meet people – especially if you don’t know them well! Plenty of space, a great menu and an extremely reasonable wine list makes this a perfect central London location. Breakfast, lunch and dinner 9am - 9.30pm – its hard to go home!

I love the bar above Waterstones. It's a great place to go after a busy day shopping!! And talking of shopping I would like to highly recommend Austique. The clothes are amazing and the service is second to none.
