This search attracts the largest prize in the industry today including a modelling contract worth $250,000.

The evening was co-ordinated by Courtney Blackman co owner of the FBC and owner of Forward PR who was also on the judging panel. The panel included Wulfran Quirel, Director of International Scouting ( surely the world’s best job for a man!)from Ford Models and president of the panel Director of Ford Models Iris Minier. Judge Courtney Blackman sat next to fabulous fashion designer William Tempest with our own wonderful Dolly Jones, Editor of Vogue.com and finally the beautiful Reaya Goldman, an ex Ford Model, and now a scout and producer.

Twelve stunning finalists selected from all over the UK strutted down the catwalk wearing a superb selection from the Jaeger collection all styled by Rebekah Roy. Make-up was by Mac and the AOFM team and Tim Furssedonn of Toni and Guy and his team produced the fabulous hair styles.

The girls were all interviewed by yours truly so the judges could learn a little more about the brains that so often go with beauty!

Another quick walk down the catwalk and after some deliberation the judges finally announced the winners in reverse order.
Sunnygirl Senjack as 2nd runner up.

DaisyToogood as the 1st runner up.

Finally the moment we were all waiting for…the winner Sadie Phelps.

Sadie will go to Sao Paolo in January to compete for the main prize against all the other countries winner’s from all over the world.
Afterwards Il Bottaccio served us a delicious glass of well deserved wine and some superb canapés and, for those that weren’t too exhausted, the after party was at Whiskey Mist. A very exciting night!
BKS: For those cold winter nights there is nothing nicer than stopping off on your way home for a scrummy mug of Ovaltine in the stunning surroundings of Bob Bob Ricard at Upper James St. W1. The individual booths are the most beautiful shade of blue and are nice and private for telling late night secrets!
