Learn more about the Ethical Fashion Network, where you can gain access to resources, stay updated on the latest news, promote your business or project, post events, share ideas and link with other people in fashion from press to buyers, suppliers, manufacturers and students.

The network now has over 1600 members, and has become an exciting hub of collaboration, information sharing and awareness raising for ethical fashion.

Ethical Fashion Forum Founder & Director, Tamsin Lejeune observes:

“All these industry professionals wanted a quick way to connect, so we built a networking site on our website where they can share information and resources.

One of our first members, SoleRebels, was the first Ethiopian fair trade footwear firm. Less than four years ago there were hardly any jobs in the founders’ community in Ethiopia. Now, SoleRebels employs more than 40 people full-time and 100 part-time. And this is just the beginning.

Add to these hundreds of pioneering designers, some of the industry’s foremost experts, buyers, press, suppliers of every type of fabric and component, and manufacturers from all over the world.

Connections through the site have led to some incredible outcomes.”

Inspired by all the stories about the people that have connected online, we decided to find a way to strengthen the relationships made through the network, and create more friendships, collaborations and communities around ethical fashion.

Last week, we launched the ETHICAL FASHION SOCIAL.

On the last Thursday of every month, members of the network to get together and meet each other face to face, in a bar, in a coffee shop, in a pub, in a village hall or anywhere they can meet locally, put faces to names and have the opportunity to meet new people or spend time with old friends.

The first social took place in London, New Delhi, Bristol and Nairobi, and was a great success. We are working on adding more cities for October’s event.

If you know that you are not the only person interested in ethical fashion in your area and would like to be the coordinator of your event, please email network@ethicalfashionforum.com for more information and the hosting guide.
