Just because Alexa is doing it, it doesn’t matter. She could wear anything and look fantastic.
My mind wanders to those old pictures of Ralph Lauren on his ranch or Dolly Parton in an 80’s pop video – not that this is bad, I like a dance to 9’to’5 like the next man, but wearing the matching blue denim uniform really isn’t on. For those who are younger than 33, may I remind you Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake’s denim ensemble at the MTV Awards. I rest my case.
I wonder what other dodgy fashions of yester-year will re-surface, tie died hooded t-shirts? Fila bottle green trainer boots? Global Hyper Colour t-shirts? Ski pants?
Maybe we should go the full hog a la 80’s pop band 5star and get the sequined jumpsuits out. Looking back, they were pretty cool, and it’s only a matter of time before we see the local Hackney trendies strolling down Broadway Market in their royal blue shimmering all in ones.
Rain or shine, you’ll always be…………………………
