That dreadful “morning after” or the fumble in the dark so as not to wake the sleeping lover or the lazy cat. You rush out pulling down your top and “bobs your uncle” your left black sock is a red and green striped edition that you thought you had lost yonks ago!
You never see anyone with odd shoes on (there are plenty of odd styles about) but you know what I mean, one left shoe different from your right shoe. As long as the style is the same and of course the heel and soles the same we could easily mix and match.
You guessed it - I did this. I bought a pair of red satin Japanese style sandals. They were so cute, I went back and bought another pair in blue. Once again rushing out in the morning. The phone was ringing, Spooky was chasing her tail, the postman at the door and me slipping on my shoes. I ran out of the house and jumped on the bus. Glorious morning, everyone was smiling. As I bounded up the stairs to get my front seat, my right foot was a Dorothy Red and my left foot a Royal Blue. Funnily enough I loved it. So do not be too uniformly below the knee you can make a dull day smile.
I shall be introducing a new footwear brand when it takes my fancy. With the help of my theatrical cat Spooky, we shall be reporting on events. Spooky is quite a character and no Puss in Boots I can tell you. I will be tip toeing across Europe in the month of September and my views on Paris, Dusseldorf (GDS) and Micam in Milan will come to you swiftly. No doubt a visit to the “cobblers” will ensue there after.
Sparkles and keep your toes in trim. Vicky
Just a thought - If you were a pair of shoes, what style would you be?
