Since winning Fashion Fringe 2006, the prestigious designer award established by IMG and Colin McDowell, Senior Fashion Writer for the Sunday Times, Gavin Douglas has been working hard in preparation for his solo catwalk show on the official London Fashion Week calendar in February 2006.
Looking towards 40s fashion and lifestyle, Douglas has referred to the return of luxury after World War II and consumerism rearing its head. A new form of leisure activity was occurring. It was prestigious and lavish and it brought new adventures and social status.
