This season's inspiration comes from mineralogy and galaxies. Autumn/Winter 2008 sees the label developing on past collections, combining aspects of tailoring, textiles and print-work to create garments with surreal qualities and sculptural forms.

Disciplined and controlled in the cut, Pilotto outlines masculine silhouettes with strong shoulders and distinct waists, combined on occasion with drapery to soften the final effect.

The garments proportions range in extremes, fluctuating from spacious and voluminous to nipped and fitted. Light double coloured silk knits have been introduced, alongside printed silk dresses and woollen outerwear.

Elegantly avant garde, with a classical discipline, Pilotto's garments offer the freedom to masquerade behind a variety of identities.
