D&G
Key Look: the nipped-in and abbreviated grey wool ghillies jacket united Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabana's traditional take on the British tailoring with a commercially slim silhouette
Target market: Shunning its streetwear credentials, D&G's more mature show this season will appeal to the increasingly commercial contemporary youth market
Silhouette: Still slim, still abbreviated but with layering a key tactic here, the ensemble often added up to a bulkier outline. This was emphasised with the oversized patchwork knits that swaddled models from waist to neckline
Fabrics: Plenty of plaids meant soft handle wools were key but velvet too emerged as a popular ingredient in the D&G recipe, which also included leather and shearling along with heavy gauge knits
Colours: The duo's highland fling meant russet reds, rich greens and heathery purples were used alongside grey brown blue and purple
