Prada
Key look: A close fitting grey db suit with hidden buttons and details worn with narrow trousers
Target market: At times a near-clerical austerity appealed to the super slick Prada stereotype while the use of detached details including extra shirt collars and trouser waistbands nodded to a more playful aesthetic. Throughout detailing was obsessive
Silhouette: Always close to the body but always structured. With db styles ushering in a wider shoulder the silhouette looked more dramatic
Fabric: Shiny tailoring, gossamer knitwear and tonal patterns kept it sharp
Colours: The sober black and dark grey was enlivened with azure blue and slashes of pillarbox red before metallic saturates and tonal greys. For eveningwear Miuccia Prada went back to black.
