Sir Philip Green has denied a Sunday newspaper report that he is looking to exit his Bhs department store business.

A report in The Independent on Sunday, citing 'retail sources close to Green', said he is understood to be looking for buyers for the 180-store Bhs chain so he can concentrate on Topshop and the American expansion of the business.

However, following The Independent on Sunday report, Green told the Daily Mail that the suggestion the 180 store business is up for sale was "absolute rubbish."
