Liberty has appointed Fabio Guidetti as director of sales and international business for its standalone Liberty of London store and brand.

Guidetti joins from Pringle of Scotland where he was head of international sales. He has also worked at Cerruti and Donna Karan international.

He joins on October 16. He will report directly to the luxury department store group's chief executive Geoffroy de La Bourdonnaye, and work in partnership with creative director Tamara Salman. 

De la Bourdonnaye said: "Fabio's appointment forms part of the strategy to grow the Liberty of London label as a global luxury brand and he will be instrumental in expanding the wholesale and retail business worldwide."
