Beales sales director Neil Jones has left the department store group.
Jones joined Beales in 2000 and subsequently joined the board of Beales in 2001.
Beales said that it would not replace Jones and that it would operate with only three executive directors going forward.
Earlier this year, Beales decided to reduce the number of non-executive directorships from three to two.
Beales chief executive Tony Brown joined the company from Bhs this summer.
