Selfridges appoints John Edgar as finance director

Selfridges has appointed John Edgar as finance director.

Edgar, who starts on December 15, will join from Woolworths where he is director of finance. He has also held senior roles at House of Fraser and Arcadia.

Selfridges chief executive Paul Kelly said: "I'm delighted that John has decided to join Selfridges. Hew will make a great contribution to the business, thanks to his outstanding expertise in all aspects of financial strategy and management."
