Korean designer Eun Jeong Hong has won this season's Fashion Fringe prize with her contemporary womenswear collection entitled Go By A Secret Path.
The romantic collection centres around tiers of broderie anglaise attached to simple white singlets and paired with skinny cropped jeans, or falling to the floor on chiffon draped dresses with wide, plaited necklines.
Chairwoman of Fashion Fringe and designer Donatella Versace, said that making the winning decision was "a very hard choice". Previous winners include Basso & Brooke, Erdem and Aminaka Wilmont, all of whom showed their collections on schedule for spring 09.
This is the fifth season for Fashion Fringe, which aims to find and nurture new British fashion design talent.
Other finalists for the competition were LF Markey, Sarah Easom and William Tempest.
