Some of the freshest new labels to watch were on show at London fashion and streetwear exhibition Margin.
FOUR HOLES
Streetwear brand Four Holes takes its inspiration from the late 1970s skate scene. The debut collection has been designed by former Mambo European marketing and international retail manager Brian MacShane. It includes T-shirts, hoodies, polos and denim and features the colourful palette and retro styling from the era, but with a definite sportswear twist. Prices from £10 for T-shirts.

HICALORIE
T-shirt and tops label Hicalorie is based around an artistic collective, which features a rotating roster of designers and creative artists that design the label's distinctive prints. The collection features multicoloured graphics and slogan tops on T-shirts, dresses and hoodies. Prices from £9 to £26.

GRETCHEN
Upmarket German label Gretchen made its UK show debut in Margin's new accessories section Gild. Based around a design concept of simple shapes and styling, the label already sells in Japan, Asia and the US, as well as Europe. The collection includes other leather products including belts, purses and gloves. Prices range from £68 to £170.

RIMO-TO
Penzance label Rimo-To mixes a local animal theme with Japanese references - T-shirts feature annotated cow diagram prints alongside Godzilla graphics. The range also includes footwear. Prices on application.

MONBIANCO
1970s sneaker brand Monbianco returned to UK wholesale at Margin - the new range, which features limited-edition styles, was created by French designer Jerome Sebah after he bought the licence. Stockists include east London indie Bread and Honey, with prices from £45.

UMA JANE
This three-year-old label has been steadily making a name for itself with its cruise collection-meets-streetwear ethic. Uma Jane's quirky beach dresses, skirts and tops come in rayon, cotton and silk in a variety of bright shades and prints. Sold via Lotus Lane in Brixton, south London, the label also has concessions in Topshop stores. Prices range from £15 to £35.

LIFE POP
Accessories label Life Pop has reinvented the ghetto blaster for the 21st century. Satchels, gym bags, handbags and cool boxes all contain speakers and a power amplifier to plug in an MP3 player or mobile phone. The label is distributed by Siesta Clothing and bags are priced at £25.
