Fashion footwear retailer Moda in Pelle has opened a store at the Lakeside shopping centre in Thurrock.

Moda in Pelle, which was founded in Leeds in the mid 1970s, has grown across the UK to a 29-store retailer with shops in locations including London, Manchester and Brighton.

The store features the latest Moda in Pelle design concept complete with flocked wallpaper. Moda in Pelle is in the midst of refurbishing its existing shops and seeking new locations in cities.  

Sharon Dray, Moda in Pelle retail operations controller, said: "We are extremely excited to be trading from this busy shopping centre, our brand is a perfect fit for the consumer in Essex. We are committed to providing the best possible service to our customers, we promise a great shopping experience for anybody that comes into the store."

For this summer the retailer has backed trends including the gladiator sandal in a selection of colours, high stilettos, platforms, sling-backs, casual pumps and peep-toe court shoes in patent, metallics and leather. Retro florals, bow details and jewelled embellishments also feature.
