Shop Direct Group to launch 3-for-2 promotion

Shop Direct Group, which owns Littlewoods, is set to launch a 3-for-2 offer across all of its clothing and footwear, with effect from Monday.
The offer will last for seven days and is the latest in a series of promotions at Littlewoods. It recently had 60% discounts off around 5,000 of its lines.
Shop Direct Group chief executive Mark Newton-Jones said: "As retailers, if we are serious in our claims to be putting our customers first, we have to make bold decisions on our prices and discounts. Despite the announced VAT cuts and falling fuel prices, customers are facing tough times this Christmas and we want to help ease them through this period."
In addition, the home shopping group has pushed back its final pre-Christmas order date. Last orders in time for Christmas must be placed before 4pm on December 23.
