Which brands are you most excited about for spring 09?
This season we can't wait to see By Malene Birger, a brand which always delivers stylish, easy-to-wear collections at affordable prices. Mint Jodi Arnold will be another highlight.

Which key trend will you buy into for spring 09?
At Feather & Stitch, spring 09 is the season of the print and we will encourage our customers to experiment with coloured designs on a variety of fabrics, from jersey to silk.

Which piece do you think will be key for spring 09?
The dress will always be our essential purchase, and this season it will be highly embellished with beads, sequins and metallic yarns. It is an incredibly versatile look that everyone can wear from day to night. A single piece of statement jewellery will complete the look. We really like large cocktail rings.

Which categories will you be buying into more heavily for spring 09?
Lightweight cashmere knits from Theory and Madeleine Press will form the basis of our spring buy. They are perfect for the unpredictable weather. For summer, we will back linen by Italian label 120% Linen.

Have you adjusted your buying budget for spring 09 compared with spring 08?
We will not be adjusting our buying budget, but we believe it is necessary for us to react to the current economic challenges. We will maintain our brand mix but deepen our buys on our lead-in entry price-point labels.
