Pentland wins Queen's Award for Enterprise

Pentland Group has scored a hat trick, securing its third Queen's Enterprise Award.
Pentland Group scooped the prestigious International Trade Award, which recognises companies which have demonstrated substantial growth overseas. In the past it has won the Export Achievement and Innovation Awards for its Speedo and Berghaus brands.Pentland chairman Stephen Rubin said: "We are delighted to have been honoured again for our international trading achievements, and this time on a group wide level. We trade in over 170 countries outside the UK. The cornerstones of our success are the mature and lasting relationships we have developed with our trading partners in those countries. Our growth overseas in a highly competitive market and in recent challenging trading conditions, bears witness to the success of this approach."
Pentland is a privately owned business specialising in the design, sourcing, marketing and distribution of footwear and clothing in the sports, outdoor and fashion sectors.
