Buyers and exhibitors were in high spirits at kidswear show Bubble at London's Olympia last week, praising its brand mix and intimate atmosphere.

First time exhibitor Amplified Kids gave the show a seven out of 10 and was impressed by the quality of visitors.

"Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and Harrods were all here," said sales director Mark Food, adding: "Bubble has the right brand mix and an intimate feel. We've taken a few orders."

No Added Sugar director Ric Ramswell said the show was not as busy as last year's debut event, but added: "The winter shows are always busier than those in the spring. We've had a good show and Bubble is going from strength to strength. All it needs is another 50 exhibitors and a bigger site. I won't go to Premier Kids next season."

Beth Cuenco, co-owner of independent Babylove in Canterbury, Kent, said: "We've stopped going to Premier Kids because the quality of the brands is higher here."
