Baugur is still considering whether to make a formal offer for Moss Bros

Baugur is still considering to evaluate a possible 42p a share offer for menswear chain Moss Bros.

Baugur said it was reviewing the results from its due diligence process.

Newco, Baugor's bid vehicle for Moss Bros, is also in the process of arranging financing and preparing documentation in relation to a potential offer.

A further announcement will be made in due course. However Baugur said that today's announcement did not amount to a firm intention to make an offer.
