Sir Philip Green will speak at the World Retail Congress in April

Sir Philip Green will join the World Retail Congress' Hall of Fame this year, which recognises the contribution that key individuals have made to modern retailing. Green will also share his views on the future of retail at the conference in Barcelona on April 9.

Other speakers include Baugur executive chairman Jón Ásgeir Jóhannesson, J Crew chairman and chief executive Millard (Mickey) Drexler and Valentino's president of sales, marketing and retail Graziano de Boni.

Dr William Fung, group managing director of Li & Fung and Miles Gray chief executive of Ben Sherman will also speak at the World Retail Congress.
