Speciality Retail Group, which runs the Suits You menswear chain, has promoted Nick Keyte to the role of managing director.

Keyte, who is currently SRG buying director, will replace chief executive Steve Gipson who will remain at the business for several weeks during a handover period.

Keyte will retain responsibility for buying. Mike Rich has also joined as sales and marketing director. He has previously worked at BMB Group, Alexon and Arcadia.

Keyte will report directly to SRG chairman Peter Lucas.

SRG will open three more Suits You stores this year in Liverpool, Merry Hill and White City in London, bringing its portfolio to 74 shops.

SRG was bought by Egyptian manufacturer Arafa Holding in March. Arafa this week increased its stake in menswear group BMB, of which Lucas is also chairman.
