Deadline extension for Specsavers Everywoman in Retail Awards

The entry deadline has been extended for the inaugural Specsavers Everywoman in Retail Awards 2008 - nominations and entries must be made by 30 June.
In association with Women in Retail and Make Your Mark, the awards have been conceived to celebrate the achievements of women working at the top of the sector and to encourage more to look at the sector as a viable and worthwhile career option.
There are nine categories ranging from store manager of the year to entrepreneur of the year, as well as the Champion Award for the company that does the most to exceed the expectations of its female employees. The awards will be presented at a ceremony at the Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square on September 30.
A high profile of judges will select the winners including Aquascutum chief executive Kim Winser and Ultimo founder Michelle Mone.
