Fashion giants Mosaic and Arcadia are gearing up to open stores in Aberdeen's largest shopping scheme Bon Accord & St Nicholas.

The scheme has secured five fashion retailers including a 16,000 sq ft flagship store for Topshop, alongside new stores for Karen Millen, Coast, Oasis and Warehouse.

All five store openings will coincide with the completion of the refurbishment of the scheme's central atrium in May 2009.

Group property director at Mosaic, Geoff Green, said: "There is a superb fit between our four brands and the Bon Accord & St Nicholas shopper, added to the central location of the new stores alongside the new Topshop store and beneath the new Next store. This is an ideal trading location for us and the outstanding performance of the small Oasis store we currently have has proven to us that we can really achieve the sales in Bon Accord".

Bon Accord & St Nicholas is owned via a joint venture between Land Securities and British Land. The scheme attracts about 270,000 shoppers a week.
