Diesel has signed a five-year deal with John Galliano to produce a kidswear line from autumn 08.
The deal was signed by the kid's division of Diesel and Les Jardins d'Avron S.A. the company which produces and distributes John Galliano prêt-à-porter.
The first collection will feature around 100 items each for boys and girls aged four to 14, along with accessories and prices have not yet been allocated. The collection will launch to the trade in January.
John Galliano said: "The synergy between two creative companies like ours will create a great success in children's wear."
Renzo Rosso, president and founder of Diesel, added: "Galliano is one of the actors of the fashion stage that we respect the most, and I believe that our collaboration will mark a milestone in the history of this industry."
