Idex is to take over streetwear show TBC.

Idex Media, organiser of the Off-Price Show, has taken over the UK's main streetwear event To Be Confirmed.

Idex will assume responsibility for the day-to-day running of the show, including handling sales, while TBC founders Mark McCann and Mark Batista will continue to be involved as creative directors. Idex has taken a majority share in the show while McCann and Batista have retained a small stakeholding.

McCann said that Idex Media's European buyer, press and media contacts would benefit the show.

Buzz Carter, director of Idex, added that the venture would make the show a more important event on the international casualwear buying calendar.

The next TBC takes place on February 10-11 at The Truman Brewery, Brick Lane, London.
