Mary Queen of Shops seeks indies for second series

Portas is seeking independent retailers for series two of her show

Mary Portas star of the BBC 2 programme "Mary Queen of Shops" is seeking the final two independent retailers to take part in the second series.

The second series will feature the first menswear independent to take part in the show and will also show Portas revisiting the shops which took part in the first series to see how they are faring since her magic makeovers.

Portas is calling for two more independents who would like her advice on updating their businesses to complete the next line up.

Filming for the second series begins this month and the shows will air on BBC 2 in spring 2008.
