H and M reports strong October

H&M said October sales in local currencies rose 15% against the previous year.
Like-for-like sales were up 3% for the period, dropping off from September's comparable store sales which were 12% ahead.
Sales for the year to date are 11% ahead, and running at 2% like-for-like.
H&M had 1,490 stores at the end of October.
November's sales data will be announced on December 17.
