Upmarket womenswear retailer Jaeger is planning two significant openings this year, with new outlets in Leeds and the City of London. Chief executive Belinda Earl told Drapers the absence of a retail presence in Leeds for the past few years meant a large part of its customer base had been overlooked, but it would now open a concession in House of Fraser. The retailer will also unveil a 2,300 sq ft standalone store in Cheapside in the City of London in October. "We recognise it is a huge opportunity for our brand," said Earl. "Our target customers are working in the City."
