DKNY Jeans will open standalone stores in the UK as part of a major international expansion drive.

Donna Karan International's diffusion brand will open stores in Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool and London. All of the shops will sell the entire autumn 2007 collection for both men and women.

The units range in size from 3,000 sq ft to 4,800 sq ft, offering core and seasonal jean styles as well as signature pieces such as leather biker jackets and oversized knitwear.

The stores in Manchester and Birmingham will open at the beginning of November while the two London shops, on Brompton Road and Bond Street, and a site in Liverpool will open in December.

Additional standalones will open in Turkey, China, Thailand and Macau.

DKNY Jeans already has concessions in Harrods and House of Fraser in the UK.
