Harvey Nichols recorded a 47% jump in profits last year thanks to strong demand for fashion and accessories.

Sales at the department store group grew 10% to £166.7 million, according to accounts filed at Companies House. The Knightsbridge store is understood to have performed particularly well, and was boosted by more tourists visiting London.
