JD Sports has been voted the UK retailer with the worst customer service.
According to a survey of 10,000 shoppers by Which? the sports retailer came bottom of a league table rating UK retailers on customer satisfaction. It was followed by rival business JJB Sports.
John Lewis was voted best in the clothing, shoes and accessories category, with Topshop and Topman at coming out bottom.
Waitrose was overall winner with John Lewis in second place.
Which? chief executive Peter Vicary-Smith said: "It's not rocket science - customers like retailers that treat them well. The best stores realise that the most important thing they can provide is helpful, well-informed staff."
