Premium casualwear brand Fred Perry has teamed up with Jil Sander creative director Raf Simons on a 13-piece capsule menswear line for autumn 08.
Each item in the range is black and features the original 30-leaf 1960s Fred Perry laurel logo in a contrasting colour.Fred Perry head of marketing Richard Martin said the range merged conceptual ideas with commercial appeal. Highlights include a short-sleeved mohair turtle neck and a heavyweight piqué polo shirt.
The collection, which will be available to Fred Perry's stockists, is the first of two planned collaborations, with the next scheduled for spring 09. There is also potential for the tie-up to continue beyond the autumn season. Prices start at £34. Call 020 7608 9100 for more details.
