Skechers will join the line up at McArthurGlen Livingston

Footwear brand Skechers will open its first store in Scotland in McArthurGlen's Livingston Designer Outlet later this month.

Skechers is extended its off price offer with the opening, which follows the launch of its first Skechers outlet store at Cheshire Oaks in 2003.

Henrik Madsen, UK regional director, McArthurGlen said: "We are thrilled to add this world renowned and popular brand to another of the McArthurGlen designer outlets where it will compliment the high calibre brand mix. As a first to the Scottish market we expect Skechers to help drive footfall and consumer spend at this 291,000sq ft outlet that is already visited by six million shoppers a year."

Other retailers at the Livingston outlet include designer mini-chain Cruise, Calvin Klein Jeans, Ben Sherman and Armani Collections.

The Scottish store will be Skechers' fifth shop in the UK. It has three full price stores in London, Manchester and Birmingham.
