Accessories independent A Gift from the Gods has opened a second shop in London's Canary Wharf after being encouraged by the development's vice president of retail leasing.
Canary Wharf Group's Camille Waxer read about the retailer in a local newspaper and contacted its owner, Jane Reucroft.
"We are very pleased to have AGFTG at Canary Wharf," said Waxer. "When I first met Jane I was impressed by her passion."
The 300sq ft store is the retailer's second; its first opened in 2001 in The Glades shopping centre in Bromley, south-east London. The store sells a mix of trend-led fashion accessories ranging from handbags to lingerie and belts to swimwear.
Reucroft set up AGFTG after requests for T-shirts bearing the name of her 1990s dance DJ collective, A Gift from the Gods.
Reucroft intends to open more stores and grow the business's online offer.
She said: "It's great to be here in Canary Wharf. It's good to see men here buying something for the girls in their life."
