Men's footwear brand, Base London has restructured its sales and marketing departments, and brought back Mark Husted to head up sales and business development.

Husted left his position as head of sales at Base London in 2004 to join Frank Wright.

Husted's appointment follows the recent addition of Jonathan Frost as export sales manager and Nathan Cooper as Northern sales executive.

Base London managing director Ian Cartwright said: "Having Mark back in the business is great for the brand. He experienced a very successful spell at Frank Wright and we hope that his knowledge and experience can help expand the brand's sales in the UK."

Separately Liz Lawley has been promoted to brand manager from her position as licensing manager.

Pete Winkworth has also stepped up to the newly created role of PR and promotions manager. He was previously marketing and PR executive.

Base London said the appointments came on the back of rising profits and increasing market share.
