Dozens of shoppers queued up for the opening of TK Maxx's first central London store in Kensington this morning.
Shoppers were greeted with a PR promotion which consisted of people chained to railings shouting "Set Big Brands Free".
The 20,000 sq ft store, which took over the former Habitat site, houses designer labels across womenswear, menswear, kidswear, accessories and jewellery at 60% off recommended retail prices. TK Maxx said the store will receive about 10,000 new items every week.
