Asda has investment £100k in the launch of two recruitment websites for its supermarket brand and clothing label George.
Asda's websites have been launched to attract new staff and build on its 165,00 strong workforce.
Asda is putting specific emphasis on its graduate training scheme, while George has launched a separate website to give potential candidates more information on the background of the clothing brand.
The new sites allow candidates to search for jobs by postcode rather than specific regions and also register for job alerts.
Claire Fuller, resourcing manager for Asda, said: "Both new sites now help to communicate the unique culture of the Asda brand meaning applicants can genuinely see whether working at Asda is right for them. Applications to the George business, based in Leicestershire, doubled last week through the trial phase of the site. Most applicants were from the fashion capital, London, however we were amazed to see that there were applications from across the world."
