Home shopping and e-tail business Shop Direct Group has avoided strike action, after its employees voted in favour of a revised pay offer.
Shop Direct Group, which includes the Littlewoods and Additions Direct brands, has revised its original pay proposal and offered a 9.24% increase over two years. The revised offer won a majority backing from union members when it was voted on this week.
Shop Direct Group said in a statement: "Shop Direct Group is delighted to have reached a successful conclusion on these talks and will continue to work closely with its trade union partners, as we continue to modernise our business."
