Menswear retailer Blue Inc has revamped its website with a view to making it the retailer's biggest sales-generating store by 2010.
The website, www.blueinc.co.uk, which launched at the end of last month, features a wider range of Blue Inc products in a more user-friendly format with larger images. The site will also feature a single page checkout system.Tim Lyall, head of merchandise and marketing for Blue Inc, said the website, created with ecommerce provider Imano, would improve the Blue Inc customer experience.
He said: "The majority of abandoned transactions happen at checkout due to the three or four page process that online retailers ask their customers to complete. The one-page checkout on our new site will make buying a quick process."
Blue Inc has 65 stores in the UK and recently announced plans to grow to 100 stores in the next two years. The retailer also plans to expand its womenswear offer, under the Pink Inc brand, into an additional eight stores this season.
In the year to May 23, like-for-like sales at Blue Inc rose by 7% with total sales for the year to December 31 expected to increase to £38 million. Operating profit is projected to be £1.3m.
