Allegra Hicks pulls out of London Fashion Week
London Fashion Week designer Allegra Hicks has pulled out of this month's event after its sponsors withdrew support for its catwalk show.
A spokeswoman for Allegra Hicks said: "It is with great regret that our sponsors withdrew from supporting our show in London in September due to the economic circumstances. We decided it was best not to show this season during London Fashion Week, but to present the new spring 09 collection after the shows in a more private environment. We will be showing our spring 09 collection to buyers as usual from London, Paris and New York."
Separately, London Fashion Week has announced that 14 new designers will be showing at Estethica, the event's static show of eco-sustainable brands.
New brands include Elena Garcia, Phophetik and Revamp.

Is now the time to launch a quality women's footwear factory in the UK?"
