Credit Suisse helps Ethel Austin to slash debt
Value chain Ethel Austin has cut its debt by more than 60% after being rescued by new owners Credit Suisse and Eos Partners and existing shareholder ABN Amro. Ethel Austin, which breached banking covenants last month, will refit a further 95 stores this year after rebranding 165 shops last year.
