Department store Robbs of Hexham to close
Robbs of Hexham, part of department store group Owen Owen, will close on May 12, after administrators failed to find a buyer. It follows last week's decision to shut Owen Owen's Scottish store Esslemont & McIntosh. Meanwhile, only one party remains in negotiations for Owen Owen's other stores, Joplings in Sunderland and Lewis's in Liverpool.
