Contemporary menswear brand Remus Uomo is launching a capsule collection for autumn 08 to appeal to younger, more trend-conscious customers.

The collection includes slim-line tailoring featuring drain-pipe trousers, skinny ties and cropped, narrow jackets in more extreme proportions than the brands core range.

Designer Keith Houston described the collection as "quirky", and said: "There will be more interaction with the clothing - you may buy a jacket and later discover it has interesting design features."

Houston said the new look aimed to underline the brand's fashion credentials. He added: "We wanted our more trend-driven customers to know we are a fashionable brand. The range will bring in a greater distinction between high fashion and mainstream lines."

The range will have green labelling to differentiate it from the core collection. Prices will be in line with he core collection from £20 to £80.
