(PRODUCT) RED, the global fund to help fight Aids, has brought together fashion brands to produce special edition Valentine's Day products to help raise money to fight the disease.
Limited edition designs from lingerie brand Frost French and a new special edition Gap T-shirt featuring artwork by Damien Hirst have been added to the (PRODUCT) RED range in time for Valentine's Day.The designers join a list of partners including Lulu Guinness and Emporio Armani who will donate a percentage of the profits from the sale of special edition gifts directly to the Global Fund.
Since its UK launch in March 2006, (PRODUCT) RED has generated more than $58 million (£29m) for the Global Fund to help fight AIDS in Africa.
The money comes directly from brands whose products take on the (PRODUCT) RED licence mark. Up to 50% of the profits from these products go directly to the global fund.
